What is it all about?

How to put all the small pieces of video together so it becomes something awesome? Something that is fun and interesting to watch.

Creating a story through video and doing it in an entertaining and skilful way is what lies behind a huge industry called Filmmaking.

Today films and video stories are available not only in movies. It’s TV, it’s Netflix, it’s YouTube and Instagram.

This course is going to take you from idea to screen. Ready, set, action!

This summer Vacation!

Classes run from 9:00 - 12:00

Monday - Friday

What will we do?

Learn the language of film

Editing is not just sticking two pieces of video together, it's a language.
We'll learn how to speak the language of films and how to tell a story through video.

Make an interesting story

Just telling a story is not enough, you have to make it an interesting one. We'll go through tips and tricks on how to make your video look dynamic, how to create something that you would want to watch.

Get your hands on camera

All that knowledge won't just come in a boring form of rules and information, we will try to film something ourselves and use editing software to try out all those tricks.

Have some fun

All this exciting stuff will be topped with a bit of film history and fun stories from actual film sets.

After Class Activity

We have an After Class Activity option available for this age group.

While your kid has a summer vacation you most likely still have to be at work, so picking up your kid at 12:00 might not be that easy. By choosing this option you can pick your kid up as late as 16:00 instead, for only 1000 kr more.

First there comes a lunch break

We’ll take a break all together, have some food and some free time. All you need to do is pack a matpakke.

Seminar on Internet safety

In the 21 century you need to know not only how to safely cross the road or that you shouldn’t talk to strangers. You need to learn how to keep yourself safe in the online world.

Preparing for Friday presentations

The big presentation awaits us on Friday so we’ll put some time into learning some presentation tricks and making it exciting for our guests.

Having fun

After learning so many new things and working for several hours we deserve to have some fun. We’ll finish the day with a Nintendo Switch and a game tournament!

Meet the teacher

Anni Hoda

Back in 2011 I’ve got my filmmaking masters degree from the oldest film school in the world - The Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. I was very proud and happy to be a graduate and a filmmaker.

I started working as an animator and soon co-founded a production studio called Yolka. I had a great run creating animation and live action projects, writing scripts and being a lead at short video productions in the advertising field but several years later decided to switch things up.

My Showreel

I’ve left Yolka and began working as a 1st Assistant Director on Russian TV projects. It was tough, fun and unforgettable. Not long after life presented me with an amazing opportunity.

I became an Executive Producer of a full-length animation film which is based on one of the most popular children animation series in Russia - The Fixies. After being released our movie took it’s rightful place in the top 5 highest grossing animation movies produced and screened in Russia.
Since then I’ve moved to Norway and joined two of the most fun and interesting people I know in an adventure of creating a place for kids and teenagers where they can learn new skills, create their own projects and find new friends.
