We will begin by exploring how the computer works,
what the internet is and what a programming language is.
Making games are an excellent way to learn programming.
It is also super fun!
We will build many games in this course.
We will build our own website to showcase the games we have built in this course.
Learn how to make a website look pretty and save information to a database.
Building games, websites and programs can be fun, but the real fun begins when you can share your creations with the world.
We will discuss how to make good products that people want to use.
We will also learn from great startup founders that are behind companies like Microsoft, Apple, Airbnb, Tesla and more!
Finally, we will take everything we have learnt and build a final project.
This can be a game, website, app or whatever else you want to build.
You can choose to build your own project or work with a classmate.
There will be a total of 20 classes taught over 20 weeks, where each class is 2 hours long.
Each class will be recorded and made available online.
The classes will take place in Oslo Sentrum.
A small class size allows the teacher to provide a personalized learning experience for the group and the individual students.
The teacher will use the first couple of classes to learn about the students' interests and curiosities.
This will shape the rest of the course.
In learning something new, it is important that there is a balance between easy and challenging.
Every student will be challenged in this course, no matter age or skill level.
